Welcome to the Kawasaki research group! Our lab focuses on controlling and exploiting the electronic, magnetic, and elastic properties of materials at crystalline interfaces, particularly Heusler compounds. We use molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) to grow these materials and study their properties by in-situ scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and photoemission (UPS, XPS).
